Accessibility Statement

1. Our Commitment

CuraSource Medical is committed to ensuring that www.curasourcemedical.com (the “Site”) is accessible to all users, including users with disabilities. We believe that everyone—including procurement, clinical, regulatory, and biomedical professionals who rely on assistive technologies—should be able to access information about our products and contact us through the Site.

2. Standards and Conformance Target

We design and develop the Site to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 Level AA is recognized as the international benchmark for website accessibility and is referenced in:

  • The European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), applied through implementing measures in EU member states (enforceable from June 28, 2025);

  • EN 301 549, the European harmonized standard for digital accessibility;

  • The U.K. Equality Act 2010 and associated guidance;

  • Title III of the U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the rehabilitation Act § 508, as commonly interpreted for commercial websites;

  • Provincial accessibility laws including the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and Quebec’s standards.

Our current conformance status with WCAG 2.1 Level AA is “partially conformant,” meaning that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the standard. See Section 4 for known limitations.

3. Accessibility Features of the Site

Features we have implemented to support accessibility include:

  • Logical heading structure and semantic HTML to support screen-reader navigation;

  • Alternative text for informative images and decorative-image identification for non-informative images;

  • Keyboard operability for interactive elements, including navigation menus and forms;

  • Visible focus indicators for keyboard users;

  • Text and background colors selected to meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios for normal and large text;

  • Form fields with persistent, programmatically associated labels and clear error messaging;

  • Resizable text up to 200% without loss of content or functionality;

  • Avoidance of content that flashes more than three times per second.

4. Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content on the Site may not be fully accessible. Known limitations include:

  • Some legacy product datasheets and regulatory certificates are provided as PDF documents that may not be fully tagged for screen-reader use. We are progressively remediating these and will provide accessible alternatives on request.

  • Embedded third-party tools (such as our analytics, cookie-banner, or chat providers) may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA; we work with vendors to improve conformance and select alternatives where feasible.

  • Older product images and marketing assets may not have complete alternative text; we are updating these.

5. Feedback and Accessibility Contact

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of the Site. If you encounter accessibility barriers, need an accessible alternative for any content, or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:

Email: ian.shen@curasourcemedical.com

Subject line: “Accessibility Feedback”

We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within five (5) business days and to provide a substantive response, including any reasonable accommodation we can offer, within thirty (30) days. When you contact us, please include the page URL, a description of the issue, and any assistive technology you are using so we can investigate and reproduce the issue.

6. Assistive Technology Compatibility

We test the Site against current versions of the following browsers and assistive technologies on a periodic basis:

  • Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge with NVDA (Windows);

  • Mozilla Firefox with NVDA (Windows);

  • Apple Safari with VoiceOver (macOS and iOS);

  • Google Chrome on Android with TalkBack.

The Site may not work optimally with older browsers or with combinations of browsers and assistive technologies that are no longer maintained by their publishers.

7. Preparation of This Statement

This Accessibility Statement was prepared on May 22, 2026. It is based on a combination of internal self-evaluation and accessibility scanning of the Site by CuraSource Medical. We will review and update this Statement at least annually and after any significant change to the Site.

8. Enforcement Procedure (EU / EEA Users)

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area and you are not satisfied with our response to your accessibility feedback, you may contact the accessibility enforcement body in your country of residence. A list of national accessibility enforcement bodies under the European Accessibility Act is maintained by the European Commission. In the United Kingdom, complaints about website accessibility may be raised with the Equality Advisory and Support Service (https://www.equalityadvisoryservice.com/).
